ENERGY FOR LIFE

Imagine, for a moment, if you could have your home at the perfect temperature – all year round and all the hot water the family needs for washing dishes, showering and a relaxing bath – and the cost of the energy for all that was ZERO!!!.

I propose taking 4 steps to achieve that goal.

• Step 1
  Install a Thermodynamic Solar Panel System to heat your domestic hot water. This will very significantly reduce your oil or gas bill as your hot water cylinder is the largest radiator in the house and accounts for 30 – 40% of the oil bill, not to mention the moNey spent on electricity for the immersion heater.

• Step 2
  Put a plan in place to properly insulate your home. This is more achievable today than ever before. There are insulating materials around now that were not there even 5 years ago and we understand much more about the requirements to control air flow than we ever did before.

• Step 3
  Install a larger Thermodynamic Solar Panel System to deliver heat to your home without the need to buy oil/gas at all. Yes, your electricity bill will go up – but the cost of that electricity will be a fraction of the money you previously spent on oil. However, your home will be maintained at the temperature you desire, day and night, without your having to think of the energy you would previously have had to buy to achieve this result.
  
  Your home will have no time-switch for turning the system on and off. The system will be controlled by thermostats which will control the temperature you require at the particular time of the day. You might like it a bit cooler in the bedrooms during the night, for example. You might like the house cooler during the day when everyone is away from home and then warmer when you arrive home. Don’t worry; the water for your bath is already taken care of!

• Step 4
  When you have all this done, you will have removed the purchase of fossil fuel from the family budget, but you will have an increased electricity bill. You can now install photovoltaic panels on your roof to collect electrical energy from the sun and use that energy to run the compressor in the Thermodynamic Solar Panel Systems.
